WOOD BURNING

I had wanted to try wood burning for quite sometime and I got a phone call from a friend one day saying, "burners are on sale...go get one right now." So I went that day and started making ornaments. I love the process of designing and making  art in the wood. It is slow and smells fantastic!  I particularly love burning spoons and imagine all the meals people will prepare using them.

Each wood burned item is a celebration of the small moments. Stirring soup with an artful spoon lets you slow down and enjoy the moment. Nativities provide beauty and function as you celebrate the advent season. Let’s all find great joy in everyday tasks.
